Finished version of a sketch, that I submitted recently.
I think that I made some improvement when it comes to backgrounds (lol, now I actually make them at all) and my linearts are better too. I'm really pleased of this one and I hope you'll like it as well!^^ It's been so long, since I drew this pairing - my very favorite W.I.T.C.H. ship.
Orube and Cedric belongs to W.I.T.C.H. and Disney Art is mine, hovewer I took their pose from some random pic I googled. xD
I know little abour W.I.T.C.H. so I just concentrate the picture I like the characters expressions, I really see the romantic tie between them, and their balance and even their hair physics are right. The flowers around them looks great and all the colors are so vibrant. The picture is really bright and happy.
The appearance of the characters are just perfect. I love them. Their cloths, hair skin and cloth shades... I really interested what is this series now
I only see problem with the back and the fore ground. The titles on the roof is not in perspective (everything else is in) and this way they look out from the whole picture. The background buildings has the same problem. The titles are just fast and carelessly lying on the roofs and they just unnecessarily attracts the attention. The background is better if its not to sharp and bright, then prevail in your main heroes better. But you always can put more little details in the foreground to show your picture complexity. Like those flowers around them.
FANTASTIC FANTASTIC FANTASTIC! maybe they will think I am unfairly judging your artpic because I gave to you 5 stars in each section. But I really think that this is incredibly original, well-designed, well-coloured and full of true emotions. I have never saw such a gorgeous drawing of them two (even in the comic). I LOVE them, and you surely did the really best with this picture. The chose of the background is marvellous and I love the atmosphere: it is paceful and also very romantic. It make me imagine that they had their happy ending, that Cedric accepted his being human and his love for Orube; then, they maybe buy a house near the Ye Old Bookshop (or maybe far far away!) and they become a so natural and beloved couple. Their love here is sincere and completely free from every fear, pride or prejudice. I love the fact that you don't show here a kiss, because kissing is "glance-less" and looking in each other eyes is so cute and loving that my heart could explode. They have to say nothing, only smiling and looking at each other is what they need.
FINALLY!!! Someone uploaded an absoultly adorable picture of this couple, I mean there are pictures uploaded but now as often. Great job, you did them justice.
This is my favorite couple, and I think it was so sad yet romantic how Cedric ended up.
it is EXACTLY what i'm looking for in DArt: <<Spectacularly Impressive>>. you treat your subject of choice with respect, the background is flawless and well-designed, colors are effective in spite of not been eye-popping, expressions are something anyone would expect (and in a way display their owners inner self: a well-hidden lie 4 Ced and powerful in love 4 Orube). in one word:<<S.I>> ! and 2 add a tiny, insignificant objection (just 4 the sake of it) perhaps they could be less leaning forward on the balcony, just saying...
Thank you so much for the nicest (and substantial^^) comment! I'm so glad you appreciate my art and the amount of work I put into it! And when it comes to their pose, well - I was thinking about making them "less leaning" too, but I really liked how it turned out and decided to leave it as it is. Thank you so much once again! And have a nice day!
Właśnie! ;_; Musieli go od razu zabijać?
