is having a contest. I decided to take part in it - and of course I am submitting my entry almost in the very last moment. xD

The theme ("Les Heureux" - "the happy ones") allowed for free interpretation and I decided to simply show Eponine - my favourite character from the story, as the one who is (at last!) happy. So in this parallel universe Marius didn't fell in love with Cosette (I don't want her to suffer because of this - she'll find another guy

) because he was already in love with his dearest friend - Eponine.

That would have been great for Eponine...
Though, I doubt it would have ended well, would it? They would have gone to the baricades and Valjean would have had no real reason to be there so...

Or they could never go there, since they'd have each other - Marius wasn't going to fight as long as he thought he can be with Cosette, but when she left, he decided to join. And in the Brick he wasn't even a member of Les Amis.
